Summer in MN :: Out Now!!

Read the release:

Crosslake, MN - energetic Minneapolis rock band Version 5, with a passion for extreme sports and having a rowdy good time, built a skateboard mini half-pipe on a pontoon and drove it to the sandbar for an epic day on Cross Lake.

An idea born from last winter's subzero frozen monatony, the Version 5 boys wanted to showcase what a Minnesota summer has to offer.

"We wanted to show fans, who may not be from the upper midwest, what a fun summer day on a lake looks like" says guitarist Andy Olson.

And where better to spend a summer weekend than in lake-country Minnesota? Sandbars full of people, water sports, jetskis, and pontoons as far as the eye can see. This isn't the only fun project Version 5 have in store.

"At some point we decided that we wanted to do things that people talk about doing, but never actually do" says drummer AJ Rowe. "We have more ideas in the works."
